Autumn Portrait Session Guide and Frequently Asked Questions
Your photo session is a time to have fun and celebrate you - here and now. It’s my job to capture this and represent the best of you. Your job is to relax, have fun, and enjoy yourself. This guide will help you get the most out of your session.
What to Prepare
Attire
Autumn is a special time with amazing colours on display. Bright simple clothing colours help you to stand out. Greens, Yellows, and natural colours will really set the scene.
Make sure your clothing helps you look good - fits well and fits your form.
Solid or simple colours work well - avoid tight patterns or contrasting colours. Make sure the clothes are clean and straightened. Make sure the socks match the outfit!
Most importantly, wear something you are comfortable in (physically and mentally) so that you are looking your best.
Day Before
Make sure you clear your diary and make sure people know you’ll be busy at the time of the booking.
Drink plenty of water and get a good night’s sleep!
On the Day
Try to arrive early, or let me know if there are any scheduling issues.
Makeup should be a natural look, and be about the same amount as your daily wear.
Empty your pockets, clear wrists and any accessories.
Do a final check of hair, makeup, and overall presentation.
Don’t stress out about perfection & get ready to have fun!
After the session
Sit back and relax. I’ll be in touch through email to share the pictures, request feedback and a review, or to discuss any follow up products you’ve expressed interest in.
You’ll receive a link to an online gallery where you can download the photos, share them.
I also partner with a few photo labs in Australia to seamlessly deliver high quality printed products. Let me know if you have any questions about these. I’m also perfectly ok with you downloading the files and going off to print them yourself directly!
The online gallery is available for 9 months by default.
